A series of informative and practical one day workshops leading to the Bradfield Certificate of Managerial Competence.

Date: Monday 16th October 2017

Each day long unit will result in a certificate, leading to the Bradfield Certificate of Managerial Competence on completion of all seven units.
The workshops are to enhance managerial skills and are tailored to provide a learning experience for all managers in any industry.
The programme is suitable for those who are either managers now or aspire to management positions.

2. Effective Coaching Conversations

Learning Aims: To provide insight into the purpose and power of effective coaching and to explore the competencies required to facilitate effective coaching conversations to achieve positive change.


The Learning Outcomes are:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Outline and describe key definitions of coaching and its role as a key leadership approach
2. Identify current coaching effectiveness and to explore key competencies required to make an effective coach
3. Explore how the concept of Fixed and Growth Mindset can impact coaching conversations
4. Practise elements of effective communication techniques to support coaching conversations
5. Explain the GROW model and how this can be used as a supportive coaching framework

 

3. Human Resource Business Partnering

Learning Aims: To provide and understand the component parts of the Human Resources Business Partnering Model and be able to demonstrate the strategic value HR adds to the business.

4. Competency Based Recruitment Interviewing
