Managing Director
I founded Bradfield in 1989 ten years in the HR profession. I wanted to recognise the need for competent HR in SMEs and start-ups in Cambridge and the surrounding area in the UK which is my home patch and my work as a consultant became well known here. I began teaching on CIPD programmes at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge and quickly realised the need for level 3 programmes in the area. Supported by our local CIPD group, Bradfield became one of the first private providers to start delivering qualifications and we began our first CPP programme in 1992 from Hughes Hall at Cambridge University. Since then we have had centres in London and the South East of England, in Europe and all over the Middle East and in Africa. Today we deliver our open programmes in the UK, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman and offer our self-study courses worldwide. Starting in the Spring of this year, we will be first provider to offer CIPD qualifications in Arabic.
We are now into our fourth decade of delivering our CIPD programmes and this must rank us as the longest serving CIPD provider!
As for me, I have a master’s degree in HR from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, a Bachelor’s Degree in European Studies and I am a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. My role is to lead and grow Bradfield and I spend my time managing what is now Bradfield Learning and Development as well as its sister HR services company, Bradfield HR Ltd, devising and implementing their respective strategies. I live in East London with my husband and three children, frequently spending weekends out of town at our second home in Whitstable in Kent.
