How hard is CIPD level 5?

CIPD Level 5 is considered to be a challenging qualification for many individuals. It requires a significant amount of time and effort to complete successfully. The course covers a wide range of topics related to the context of human resources such as organisational performance & culture in practice, professional behaviours and business decision making including critical thinking and decision making and measuring the impact of HR on the business.

As well as these contextual topics, there are units covering more traditional HR subjects such as employment law and employee relations, and talent management.

The coursework is detailed and requires a thorough understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, students are expected to apply their knowledge in practical settings, which can be demanding.
