Find out what the team at Bradfield has been up to over the last few weeks
It has been a busy couple of weeks for Bradfield with many of the team attending meetings and conferences in Muscat, Riyadh and Dubai. We’ve also welcomed our newest cohort of students on our Certificate in HR Practice course in Dubai. We thought we’d give you some highlights and insight into what we’ve been up to over the last couple of weeks in the Gulf and the UK.
In mid-February, our team attended the HR Summit in Muscat, Oman, alongside our partners, the prestigious Polyglot Institute. Raising awareness of CIPD HR qualifications available in the region, the event was attended by senior HR decision makers from various organisations in Oman. From our discussions at the Summit, hosted by Fleming Events, it suggested that there is a real appetite for HR qualifications in the region. We are very excited to further grow our relationship with Polyglot in the region and look forward to welcoming students on to our courses over the next few months.
From there we spent a week in Dubai, scoping out our new offices in Knowledge Village where we recently moved. Just two doors down from our original office, we’ve moved to much larger and airier surroundings, so please do feel free to drop in and say hello we’re in Block 13, Office G14. We’ll have some pictures to show you soon!
Whilst in Dubai, we also took the opportunity to meet up with CIPD Middle East, also based in Knowledge Village, to catch up on how we can both do more to raise awareness of CIPD qualifications in the Gulf and how these qualifications can benefit individuals. Being the longest established provider of CIPD qualifications in the region, it is great to see the CIPD building more of a presence in the Gulf and we look forward to working more closely together to serve our clients in the region.
We finished off a busy couple of weeks with a breakfast briefing at our London offices on employee engagement and how to motivate employees in 2016. Led by our Head of Outsourcing, Aisha Oakley, the workshop was well attended by HR professionals as well as MDs from a range of SMEs and it was really interesting to hear what these organisations are doing to motivate and engage their employees – some perhaps have adopted this better than others. But all attendees took something away whether that was reassurance that what they are doing is great or perhaps they need to be doing more to ensure staff are engaged and therefore retained.
This week we’ve got a webinar on Thursday 3rd March about CIPD courses and it’s not too late to sign up if you’d like to hear more about the CIPD qualifications we offer and the benefits of undertaking a course with Bradfield. Sign up here.
We’ll be back at the end of the month with more news on what we’ve been up to. Until then, if you require assistance with your HR function, we can provide you with a dedicated onsite HR consultant to take care of all your HR needs. Equally if you’d like to find out more about the range of CIPD courses we offer then click here.
